Terms of Service

1. Agreement and eligibility

These Terms of Service form an agreement between you and ALLAN STORES. By using this website, creating an account, placing an order, requesting a quotation or using a connected communication service, you agree to these terms and the policies incorporated by reference.

You must have legal capacity to enter the relevant transaction or be authorised to act for the person or organisation named on it. If you do not agree, do not create an account or place an order; you may contact us for assistance.

2. Accounts and security

Customer accounts are separate from staff access. You must provide accurate information, protect your password and verification codes, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

We may require verification, revoke sessions, suspend an account or restrict an action where reasonably necessary to protect customers, staff, payments, stock or the service.

3. Catalogue, pricing and orders

• Product descriptions, images, availability and compatibility information are provided to support a purchase decision, but minor presentation differences may occur.
• Prices are displayed in the stated currency and confirmed in the server-calculated checkout total. We do not rely on totals supplied by a customer’s browser.
• Adding an item to a cart does not reserve stock. An order remains subject to validation, stock reservation, payment conditions and fulfilment acceptance.
• An acknowledgement confirms receipt of the request; it does not guarantee acceptance where stock, price, payment, compliance or delivery information cannot be validated.
• If a material error is identified before acceptance, we may correct it and ask you to confirm the revised order or cancel and refund an affected payment.

Any quotation, invoice, warranty statement or agreed business-purchase document may contain additional terms specific to that transaction.

4. Payments and fraud checks

Available payment methods are shown before payment. Provider-hosted payments are processed by the identified payment provider, bank or mobile-money operator under its own terms. A browser return page alone does not prove payment; we rely on authoritative provider confirmation and reconciliation.

You must not initiate a payment using an account or instrument you are not authorised to use. We may pause fulfilment while a payment, reference, duplicate transaction, reversal or suspected fraud is investigated.

5. Delivery, pickup, cancellation, returns and refunds

Delivery or pickup availability, cost, location and estimate are confirmed during checkout or directly with our team. Estimates are not guarantees where circumstances outside our reasonable control intervene.

Cancellation, return, inspection, warranty and refund eligibility depend on the published policy accepted for the transaction, the item’s condition, statutory rights and any documented exception. 6. Electronic communications

You agree that account, order, invoice, payment, delivery, return, refund and security notices may be delivered electronically using the contact details you provide. Depending on your choices and enabled services, this may include email, SMS or WhatsApp.

Transactional communications necessary to perform a service are separate from optional marketing. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time. Carrier, internet or messaging-provider charges may apply.

7. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the service unlawfully, fraudulently or to infringe another person’s rights;
• attempt to access another customer’s account, order, receipt or private file;
• interfere with security, availability, rate limits, stock reservations or payment processing;
• upload malicious, deceptive or unlawful files or content;
• scrape, reverse engineer or automate access in a manner that harms the service or violates applicable law; or
• misrepresent identity, authority, payment status, eligibility or consent.

8. Third-party services

The service may link to or depend on payment providers, Meta, WhatsApp, delivery partners or other independent services. Their terms and privacy notices govern information and actions handled directly by them. We are not responsible for an independent provider’s service except to the extent applicable law makes us responsible.

9. Product warranty and service responsibility

Product warranties, where offered, are identified on the product, invoice, warranty document or applicable policy. Nothing in these terms excludes a mandatory right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss caused by misuse, unauthorised modification, incompatible third-party equipment, failure to follow instructions, or an event outside our reasonable control. Any limitation is subject to mandatory consumer and other applicable Tanzanian law.

10. Suspension, termination and governing law

You may stop using the service and request account deactivation or eligible data deletion. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, security threat, fraud risk or legal requirement. Provisions intended to survive—such as payment, record-retention, intellectual-property, dispute and liability provisions—continue as applicable.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Parties should first attempt to resolve a concern through our support contact before using any available court, regulator or other lawful dispute process.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these terms to reflect service, provider or legal changes. The effective date and version identify the current baseline. Changes do not retroactively alter a completed transaction unless agreed or required by law.
